Simple Beanie with Bow Pattern

Ta-da!


Materials:

Yarn: Any two worst weight yarns
Hook: Size G (4.00 mm)
Stitch Guide
Ch = Chain
St = stitch
SL = Slip Stitch
Dc = Double Crochet

Notes: This hat is worked in non-joining rounds. Use a marker to help keep track of rows; move the marker after each round is completed.

Pattern:

Crown– Chain 3, join with SL. Hdc 8 st into 3rd ch from hook.
Row 1. 2 Dc in every st around (16 st)
Row 2. *Dc in next st, 2 Dc in following st* Repeat around (24)
Row 3. *Dc in next 2 st, 2 Dc in following st* Repeat around (32)
Row 4. *Dc in next 3 st, 2 Dc in following st* Repeat around (40)
Row 5. *Dc in next 4 st, 2 Dc in following st* Repeat around (48)
Row 6. *Dc in next 4 st, 2 Dc in following st* Repeat around (56)

Continue in rounds without joining until piece measures desired length.

Finishing– Dc until 4 in. from desired length. Change colors and do 3-4 rows in accent color. Finish by doing 2-3 rows of main color.
